Hello, Students! It's been a while so I thought we were overdue for a proper dev update. Progress has been slow for the past about a month, but a lot of progress has also been made. As per usual just some general housekeeping. Most of the characters from the last casting call have been booked now all that remain are Emelia (cast), Idril, Althea, and Kagura. The plan is to reach out to VAs this Friday or sometime over the weekend in regard to Althea, Kagura, and Idril. I've also more or less finished up the Kickstarter. Now with time I've come to the conclusion that I may not need to do one with the rate at which characters are being drawn I could likely afford to just pay our artist a bit of money and we'll still be on track. So I may not even launch one. I have all the perks thought out, I don't know maybe I will because like we did come up with some cool reward ideas. But I could also easily just like create a shop post-launch of the demo or even a Patreon maybe and it might just be less complicated. I don't know maybe part of me is just scared we'll somehow hit all the stretch goals and I'll have to commit to also creating a spin-off for sure vs just being able to fantasize about one. Additionally, I wanted to say I put out a casting call for Malachi through Twitter for those who didn't know. I did so because not only does he appear in the demo, but I want him to be as much of a surprise for players as possible, so I couldn't just post him on the casting page, because otherwise he'd be spoiled for people. So I'm playing this one close to the chest. But that's happening deadline for auditions is set to 07/31. So he won't be cast likely until September or late August. And I think that about covers the general stuff. I may do another bigger casting call in a couple of months, but really not sure, I'm trying to get everyone that's going to be in the demo done and ready to go so we'll see. Anyways onto the update proper.
