It hasn't been long since the last update on the progress of the visual novelization of P.S.A. that was posted to Twitter. But things are starting to really progress so there's a couple things to update everyone on.
First off, I'll be posting the updates not just on Twitter, but also here moving forward. It'll help having a place where people can easily find all the updates without having to dig through tweets.
Secondly, there is no secondly. On to the actual updates.
I've begun editing the novel which acts as the main route for the game, I'm about 40% of the way through the process, refining dialogue, descriptions, overall flow, correcting any continuity errors.
Continued working on the alternate routes specifically I've started with a character named Alberich.
I have started extracting all of Unicorn McFeel-Good's lines so that they may be recorded.
I've cast Unicorn McFeel-Good.
The fourth member of The Chimp Gang has been designed and rendered (no official reveal).
Work has begun designing the final member of the above mentioned group, he won't have a reveal either, and possibly won't even be shown for promotional purposes (keep him secret, keep him safe).
Prof. Harris has been tentatively cast, an actor has been picked out, but I haven't hired them or spoken with them about the role yet. So could change, but at the moment I do have an actor in mind.
Coyote, has been decided on the character to be revealed, held a tie breaker poll between him and Fianna Walsh, and he won out, so he shall be the next character officially revealed this month.
Work on the backgrounds has begun.
Music is still an ongoing process, but we are almost there. As I've said before the current batch I'm waiting on should be the last of it.
Johnny Whip's biography, as well as ending has been written.
Other small mechanics for the game have been plotted, nothing definitive quite yet of course.
And that's it for this update, things are slowly, but surely progressing. The next real big hurdle is the backgrounds, once those are all completed realistically work can begin putting the game together. And once the voice lines for Uni are done in theory a demo of the game can be put together, there's still a very long ways to go. But it we're almost at the point where it definitely will get done. That's all for now everyone!
