Taken in and raised as a young boy in the ways of martial arts and magic by the Sun WuKong he specializes in defensive spells typically themed around nature. That being said one would be foolish to challenge him to combat especially if he is armed with a sturdy bo staff. No one knows for certain why the great Sun WuKong took a young Alfar boy to be his apprentice. Perhaps with his wisdom he knew without guidance he could wreak havoc as he once did. Perhaps Virion despite not appearing all that special physically nor having any special lineage that he’s aware of possess a great untapped power. One that needed to be nurtured and directed in a benevolent direction. Upon reaching his teens Principle Thoth and his master determined that P.S.A. would be a good next step for him. He’s kind, patient, eager to learn and possess quite the moral backbone. And while athletically impressive and a fairly competent magic user, he still has a lot to learn and isn’t projected to do well in other subjects like Literature, or Alchemy. Sun WuKong has left his “training” from here on out to the discretion of Principle Thoth. Virion doesn’t even choose his own classes… It should also come as no surprise that much to Virion’s ire he lives on campus. He’d much rather be back home on Mount Huaguo.
He’s fairly sociable, able to hold a conversation, but he’s also quite content by his lonesome. He can be competitive so don’t be surprised if he ends up joining one of P.S.A.’s sports teams.
He prefers the company of nature and animals as they’re in his words, “easier to understand than people or creatures.”
While looking at him you may not be able to tell that he’s a student of Sun WuKong, there are some tell tale markers. If you know what to look for that is. The gold circlet he wears around his head adorned with phoenix feathers is not a sign of royalty, but his status as one of Sun WuKong’s people. It having been originally gifted to his master it has now been gifted to him. Additionally one, may take notice of the small stick looking earring he wears and think it just a fashion statement. But it is actually in fact none other than the Ruyi Bang staff once wielded by his master shrunk down and given to him. While he doesn’t not yet posses the strength to use it given it’s weight when at it’s normal size; Sun Wukong believes that one day Virion will be able to do so. For now, he just keeps it with him as a reminder of how far he still has to go and the strength he aspires to obtain.
