Here's an exclusive reveal just for the website! Originally I wasn't going to do an official reveal for these guys, but after getting back the final piece of art for the four of these guys I just had to share it somewhere! From left to right we have: Haruki, Hikaru, Hirohito, and Hiroki.
Each brother of course will be datable, but! If you so desire you can also pursue a polyamorous relationship with all four!
Haruki is the soft-spoken one of the group preferring to live life with his head stuck in a book, he likes the route of least resistance choosing to avoid petty squabbles with his brothers. He enjoys learning new things, but he's definitely not outgoing. He's shy and equally polite, you won't find much conflict in a relationship with him.
Hikaru is the youngest of the brothers and loves western culture: American comic books, television, and movies are some of his favorite things. He enjoys surfing and pizza (despite it being incredibly expensive and uncommon where he lives). He's very laidback with a go-with-the-flow attitude, not one for letting tensions get too high he often cracks jokes even in times where it might not be appropriate.
Hirohito is the eldest, and the one most into his country's culture, he takes his practice of bushido and ninjutsu very seriously sometimes to the annoyance of his siblings. He also takes his role as the eldest very seriously always trying to keep his brothers in line and make sure they're not causing any issues for their adoptive father. He encourages those around him to always strive to do better, achieve more, reach higher. He and Hiroki have a bit of a strained relationship at times which could be a result of their differing ideologies and their closeness in age. While you could say Hirohito is a little overbearing he is a partner who would strive to make sure he is providing the best life possible for his companion; always putting their needs before his own, and respecting their life just as much as he respects his own.
Hiroki is the largest of the brothers and definitely the roughest around the edges both metaphorically and physically. He is to a degree a loner not really making friends with anyone, of his brothers he's closest with Hikaru enjoying time spent playing video games with him or just goofing off as teenagers do. He enjoys practicing karate but prefers kungfu as he thinks it's more practical. He also enjoys weight lifting despite choosing not to join the school's team because that would require him to partake in an activity without his brothers. Though he would never openly admit that, that was the reasoning instead he would just make some up like, "those guys would just hold me back." Despite the squabbles he may have with his family he is fiercely loyal to them. And while he may not be as enamored with Japanese tradition as Hirohito, he does take his martial arts training very seriously even if it's in a way Hirohito finds unconventional or sloppy. He loves MMA partaking in it when he can, and he's never one to shy away from a street fight having fought many a would-be gangster, or rude civilian.
While the Hamato brothers are all very different from one another not only physically, but mentally they do share some common traits and interests. They all really enjoy sumo wrestling for one thing following the sport very closely having their own family viewing parties. They all enjoy some level of martial arts, though the specific practice varies for each they like sparring with one another to see who's the strongest, though really the only two who care all that much are Hirohito and Hiroki. They all love swimming as on land despite maybe their best efforts they are all a little clumsy, Hikaru by far being the clumsiest of the bunch with Haruki being a close second in that category. They enjoy diving akin to what would be snorkeling for us humans. And they all desperately wish to be a part of society rather than living life in secret in the Japanese countryside; which is why they all enjoy school because they can be social and don't have to hide from anyone. They are all even a part of the swim team and are considered the best on it even being just Freshmen.
Despite what might be a familiar resemblance to creatures you have seen before; there's a lot to these kappas that really make them stand out from the rest. And you'll be able to learn even more about them come this September when the book Pleasant Sparkle Academy releases, and even more! When Pleasant Sparkle Academy: The Visual Novel releases in the future. Until then I hope you enjoyed learning more about this group of colorful brothers!
