Brother of seven (biologically), Robert Bone is an unremarkable Witch, with no particular aspirations. Best friends with Daniel Wood (who’s also his adoptive brother) and Emelia Watson, they’re the “comedic relief” of the trio. Having prior to P.S.A. attended a very prestigious boarding school of which Prof Harris was a headmaster. They still wear their house colors as a once proud member, while acknowledging their previous school had its issue they still look back on their time there with fondness. That being said, they are excited to be in a new school, ready to show new team spirit! Though it is a very different atmosphere.
They’re pretty easy going, and a bit of a layabout much to the dismay of their friend Emelia. They enjoy school for the most part, though you won’t see them enthused about Potions or some of the other more mentally stimulating classes. That’s not to say they’re not intelligent in their own way. Robert is very good at chess, so don’t be surprised if they end up being the new star of the Chess Club this year. They’re also not a half bad cook. They’d like to one day open their own ice cream shop filled with novelty flavors akin to their brother’s Freddie and Georgie’s candy and novelty store.
They’re quite sociable, having made plenty of friends at their old school. They can be quite the life of the party if the party is right. They’re confident about what they know and what’re they’re good at. And a little more apprehensive and cowardly about what they do not. In fact they have a tendency to work themself into a tizzy when placed in situations outside their comfort zone, or familiarity. So while fairly sociable, dropping them into a house party full of strangers wouldn’t be the play to make. Nor would dropping them into some sort of deadly plant snare trap, but then again you drop anyone into a deadly plant snare and see if they act cool, calm, and collected.
They have a way of getting along with most everyone, and have this ability to just fall into any clique. Jocks, nerds, punks, preps, they’re like a social chameleon.
Their hobbies just as lucid range from skateboarding to kites and model planes. You’d think being a Witch the mundane would lose luster, but not for Robert. Magical sports are just as interesting as Human ones. He has an affinity for building LEGO, nothing in particular though, he just enjoys building things from his own imagination; and he’s rather good at it. His current project is building a replica of his old school.
He shares a room with Daniel who has lived with his family since they were kids. And while their humble abode is cramped he loves his big family and wouldn’t trade them for the world.
He’s a family man, loyal to his friends, not above owning up to his own mistakes. A little dense, and dim witted. You may have to spell out your feelings. But you will have a partner who loves and cherishes you for all times.
What you need to ask yourself is what are your priorities? Do you desire to be doted on night and day, live a life of comfort and security? Or do you prefer a relationship of adventure, some misunderstandings, with laughter and genuine love? If your choice is number two then Robert Bone is for you.
