A legendary mercenary in the lands of Dnalrednow most know him as “Hell-Devil” but the people of Dahael call him “Emeralias”, the Phat Bats of Hallow’s Burg call him “Thunderer” because of how loud he cracks the fallen branches. The Dwarves of Au-Don call him “Greenie”. His people come from across the sea, his family migrating to the port town of Dramuth when he was quite young. He’s not exactly personable, but he’s loyal to his friends and will help just about anyone if the coin- er gem is right. He’s a member of the weightlifting team having been recruited Freshman year. He’s also a member of the wrestling team being regarded as one of the best on the team though strangely having less accolades than fellow teammate Ferdinand Bull. He’d be considered by most the better of the two and yet in competition he always seems to fall behind him. Gerolt doesn’t think much of it though, he’s seen battle, killed, hunted, lived off the land, his ego isn’t so easily bruised. In a fight to the death he’d surely win especially if he were allowed use of his battle axe. He lives on campus and can often be found outside school hours either jogging around the track, or relaxing under a tree. He enjoys feasts so it’s also not shocking to find a party going on, on his floor of the dorms spilling out from his room. He’s also a foodie so it’s not uncommon to smell all sorts of things wafting from his room during the week. While not academically inclined, he’s not above learning new things and takes full advantage of the courses available at P.S.A.
He’s not emotive so he can be hard to read sometimes and it can take a bit to learn how to track how he’s feeling if he’s feeling anything at all. He’s usually comfortably numb. His personal mantra being, “it could always be worse, but it also could be better.” He’s very much a “what’s done” is done kind of person, he’s a problem solver if there’s an issue and he can fix it he’ll do it if not he’ll shrug and let what happens happen.
A lot of students find him intimidating, but there’s no real reason to be intimidated by him he typically avoids altercations when he can. Even verbal ones, he doesn’t typically find them worth the energy expended. Physical fights however are a different stories, those he avoids because he knows he’ll win which he may end up regretting if past experiences have taught him anything. He keeps his anger in-check when upset because he knows if he doesn’t people can get hurt which isn’t something he wants.
He’s strong, pretty easy going, kind of a pushover for the right person, with a healthy lobito kind of man. If his physical looks weren’t enough those characteristic should be plenty of a sell for a potential partner. Well- assuming you like your relationships like lazy rivers.
