Devoted companion of Rawhead you’ll never see the duo apart. He doesn’t speak, nor does he even have much agency in his life since meeting Rawhead in the American south. He doesn’t appear to even have much of a personality, he appears as just some sort of extension of Rawhead. The only individual trait he has is his seemingly love for dance. He just kind of does what Rawhead wants to do so there’s not much to say about him. He’s a world famous killer (sort of) a lot of his accolades are actually Rawhead’s. Rawhead was known as Rawhead-and-Bloody-Bones in some places during his early years, so when he came to America and met Bloody Bones who was nameless at the time he bestowed him the sometimes other half of his name. Bloody Bones when became a sort of extension of Rawhead’s will as if he were a familiar, and overtime earned his new name as his body were stained with the blood of their victims. There was no Bloody Bones before Rawhead so perhaps that’s why he’s so hopeless devoted to his friend. He was just a hapless creature brought to life by forces unknown with no purpose or desire of his own. And even if you could somehow get him alone he may be difficult to commune with given he doesn’t know any sign language. Communicating with him requires one to play a game of Charades. Who is Bloody Bones? No one knows it’s unlikely even Rawhead knows and trying to get to know him will surely be a dangerous game. But in order for Bloody Bones to truly become a creature in his own right he’ll need someone to take that risk and show him he’s allowed to be his own person with his own wants and desires; not just the tool for another’s whims.
