Yes, he is a Brownie. And a pseudo adoptive son of the Wallace family who reside in northern Scotland. He took up residences in their home one mid-summer’s eve several years ago and has been there ever since. While he’s technically only about seven years old, physically he looks to be around fourteen to sixteen. After a couple years of earning his keep with the Wallace family by helping with chores around the house and farm he’s sort of become one of them. To that effect he has two older siblings, Noah and Isla; and after years of seeing them attend school, he really wished to do so as well. Both Noah and Isla supported the idea, but the family admittedly had no idea about how to go about enrolling him somewhere. After all he has no birth certificate and given his appearance he can’t just waltz into a school without being noticed. Luckily for them they didn’t have to wrack their brains long before Principal Thoth himself sent a letter offering Adrian admittance to P.S.A.
A bit shy, a little awkward, socializing is not his forte. Sensitive to the point that some might say he’s “easily offended” unless you’re good at reading body language it may be hard to pinpoint how he’s feeling in a given moment. Adrian doesn’t do a great job of vocalizing his feelings so your relationship with him may feel like it’s in a constant state of flux.
But if you can navigate his social ques or- lack thereof… You will find a very kind and giving creature. He’s still very much discovering himself, only having been alive a short time and having spent most of living on a farm helping out. Adrian isn’t quite sure who he is, though he’s fairly certain who he’s supposed to be. He has a hard time seeing himself as anything more than a Brownie, though it’s probably to be expected as it was acting as a Brownie should that has allowed him to stay with the Wallaces. It’s what has afforded him a roof overhead and a family. But if he were to be honest he’s not sure that he is in fact a member of the family and not just a sort of butler.
He doesn’t really have any hobbies or interests, he likes being of help to people arguably to his detriment. And he really loves Halloween because he can dress as a Ghost and go out among people, even though his siblings are teenagers now, they all still go guising. They have to drive into town to do so, but if you were to ask him it’s worth it for a night of feeling Human something Adrian wishes he was. Though he still will be the first to admit being a Brownie does have its perks too.
